        Nice little pub,, good selection of beers, cans, bottles & droughts,, Outdoors seating area overlooking the York Outdoor Market, just stayed for a couple of beers but decent pub. Cheers.

        What a great gem of a place this is. If you enter the premises via the Shambles it looks small but don't be fooled, it has a lot of seating areas at the back, upstairs and undercover outside where you can watch the hustle and bustle of the market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of ales and drinks to choose from. I personally didn't eat there, but what food I did see looked good.
