Dr Kirsty Kennedy helped me enormously when I was referred to her by my Employers. I had been struggling with Depression,Stress and Anxiety. I found her extremely easy to talk to and together we broke down and explored every issue in great detail making sense of why I was feeling like this. She is a very emphatic person and has a calm, gentle and understanding persona which makes it very easy to open up to and express your feelings and converse like you've known each other for years. I felt supported and encouraged to be open and frank. She helped me make sense of my thoughts and feelings and brought me to a place of peace and tranquility. I would thoroughly recommend, Dr Kirsty Kennedy to anyone suffering from depression, stress and anxiety. She helped me. She could help you.

I sought the help of Dr Kennedy to address trauma associated with medical treatment that had gone wrong. Dr Kennedy has been invaluable in helping me process and move forward from this life changing event. With her help, I was able to stay in a demanding job, and keep 'up and running' through a very challenging time. I had a safe space in our sessions to work through what had happened. I am very grateful for her care, which was professional but with appropriate compassion. I felt heard for the first time in a long time.

I have known Dr Kennedy for many years professionally and always experience her as a clinician who is deeply compassionate and who cares about the welfare of her clients. I find her full of integrity and she is someone I would wholeheartedly recommend to a friend or member of my own family.

I sought help from Kirsty for about a year, a couple of years ago when I was going through a tough time with work and relationship issues. We met weekly initially and then spaced our meetings as things improved. Though I had had therapy before I learnt new things about myself and really valued the sessions. I am not sure I would have got through it without her support so of course I highly recommend Kirsty. Kirsty used techniques to take me back to difficult situations and replay them from an earlier or younger self perspective. She also got me to re-appraise what I was about; my values, my friendships and purpose. Our meetings were a vital space in the maelstrom of events that were happening at the time. I still reflect back on what I learned. Kirsty has a wonderful manner. Despite, I presume, hearing hundreds of individuals' detailed stories, she stays curious, supportive and remembers small details playing them back at relevant moments. As I got better I valued the intelligent discussions we had on an academic, learning basis. That was a realisation I was better but I wish I could have them for ever!

Kirsty has been a lifeline for me as my therapist during some very difficult times, including everything the pandemic has brought, and Im glad I found her when I did. Kirsty ensured our sessions still felt safe when moving to remote during lockdown and that I was supported despite how unsettling the world felt. I spent a long time trying to find someone who was the right fit for me to help me work on complex trauma and who I felt I could trust for long term therapy. I needed someone highly experienced with the right level of technical expertise, but also someone who could relate as a fellow human being. It was a draining journey trying to find the right person and, if youre reading this, you may be in the same place I was and in need of this support. I can personally vouch for the fact that Kirsty holds space for you until you are ready to open up and displays compassion and empathy throughout. She will not rush you and, most importantly, she sees you and she hears you. I strongly recommend her.
