The method for applying for properties is very impractical as you cannot secure a property and have to wait to see if you were the first applicant. Ended up with no property even after registering and applying early (month in advance).

AVOID. Plumbing never functioned correctly at 59 crossways YO10 5HT. Due to covid restrictions at the time of taking the lease 2021/22, viewing was virtual. The reality is the properties drainage is wholly in adequate. The showers dont drain and the washing machine regurgitates pink liquid into the wash ruining clothes. No thought or offer to cover the cost of damage. This pink fluid is fluid the maintenance company have clearly put down the drains to try and address the issue. The fact is the plumbing is inadequate. These issues were raised on numerous occasions with Sinclair and the landlord received 26389 in rental. Never resolved and now new tenants will face the same. And Sinclair had the nerve to not fully refund the deposit. Uni of York also have a responsibility to ensure agents such as Sinclair are undertaking due diligence. And student wellbeing. Exploitation and a shambles.

The reviews from tenants on google tell you everything you need to knowthe fact that some landlords seem happy with the same service is quite shameful

Very friendly staff however the application processes for lettings is very vague and convoluted. They need more explanation of the level of detailed descriptions they are expecting for each point they want.
