Very poor service received this weekend during a visit to the Lendal Bridge premises. I wanted to send a letter but was advised to go to Lendal Bridge from the main post office in Coney Street. Having arrived at the location I was informed by the staff that they couldnt sell me a stamp to post the letter and I would have to complete the booking in the app. I asked the member of staff to weigh the letter to be told they didnt know how to do this. I suggested that they take it to another member of staff to put it on the scale and confirm the weight. Another staff member came to confirm the weight of the parcel and recommended that I might be better going to Micklegate as the app is so hard to use and many people just walk away rather than trying to use it. Why is it so hard to find staff that are able to help rather than just turning people away and telling them to sort it themselves?
