Pizza Express

Unfortunately the service was very slow and this was clearly down to one thing; the endless succession of Uber Eats/Deliveroo drivers coming through the door (who orders pizza express to be delivered??). Was sat by the door and their constant carousel made it very draughty and I actually had to ask one to stop playing music out loud on his phone. The kitchen seemed to focus on getting these orders prioritised as we (just a table of two adults and two kids) were in there almost two hours... waiting... waiting...to the point where it took so long to actually pay. We had asked for the bill fifteen minutes earlier and once we finally had it, waited another ten minutes for someone to actually arrive with the card reader only after we had asked AGAIN and were already in our coats. Am very unlikely to go back to any Pizza Express again if they continue to fall over themselves for the delivery market at the cost of the dine-in customers.

Forgot mushrooms as additional topping (how can you be that stupid?) Luke warm straight onto cold upon arrival, taste and flavours I'd rate a 2.5/3.0 at a push out of 5, we were hungry so we ate it
