I changed some pet details, phone numbers, for their chip details. I wasn't charged a fee, feel I have had my monies worth, luckily my pets haven't gone missing, just in case something happened.

Contacted Identibase to change the chip address for my cat. I was informed that I would now have to register to pay 16 or 21 to do this. There is no option to simply pay a nominal 6.00 to simply change the address details (online). I was also informed that if I wanted to remove my cat from their database I would also have to pay 16 for the privilege! I am and always and have been a responsible pet owner, but it seems that I will have to leave my cat's chip associated with my old address. Just updated my dog's chip elsewhere, free of charge! I noticed too that you only get according to their site 'Quality customer Service' if you pay your 16 or 21! I recognise that a profit has to be made, but according to the person I spoke to, market research suggested to them that people, would be happy to pay almost 3 x as much for the same service..? Really..?
