Very bad company. We rent and paid car from them, but when we came car didnt exist. So we need double price for other car. Dont recommend.(((

Booked hire car online, only to be phoned today and told they couldn't fulfill the order due to demand unless we paid an additional 40. So I cancelled booking. This has left us in a very awkward last minute situation now. Very disappointed.

I needed a car for a week's holiday in the East Coast of USA. Having done a web search of companies offering the service, America Car Rental came up on top for value. After completing a well laid-out, user-friendly web application form, I was sent an immediate email with details of the rental request. This included Customer Service telephone number and email address. The car voucher was then sent almost immediately but I missed it in my inbox, so I called Customer Services and was immediately sent another copy of the voucher without any fuss. The rental was with one of the main International car hire companies and I was able to collect the car from the main rental office at JFK. To my delight, I was upgraded to a large four door saloon car, which was much more comfortable than the economy 2-door model I had rented. When I emailed Customer Services during the week with a query about possible change of date for the return of the car, I received an immediate email response pointing me to the right contact to direct my query. All in all, the best budget rental experience I have had in over 30 years of travel. Highly recommended.

Amazing price. We rented a car through them which was a alamo van. only hassel is carring the printed paper around to pick up the vehicle
