We at Spotlites have recently switched over to Business Waste from Biffa due to receiving terrible service from the latter. When I first enquired into costs I had a speedy response from Fergus Ward a member of the sales team who was able to discuss with me what it was I needed from a waste removal company and then provided quotes based on those needs. Turns out I am paying a slightly cheaper cost but for the same size bin and fortnightly lifts compared to the previous service which was only a bin lift once a month. I also want to commend Fergus for his patience in us deciding in whether we wanted to go ahead because of ongoing issues that still needed to be resolved with Biffa. When we did set ourselves up with Business Waste, our "case" was sent over to Dan King from the logistics team, who arranged with myself when the best time for the bin to be dropped off, along with when the first date of waste collection would be. Due to trying to avoid being charged by two different waste collection companies in the same month, Dan made it very easy to organise when the best dates were for our first collection to avoid collision with the company we were using previously due to them still having to collect their bin from our premises. Dan has then been there every step of the way making sure our bin was delivered correctly and we had received it and were happy with it, along with checking up on us when it came to our first waste collection to ensure that too went smoothly. Of course it all has. I also want to point out that not just the quality of service is so much more superior with Business Waste, but we are also impressed with the 240L bin we have been provided. It has a built in lock which has meant that we have been able to keep our waste more secure, and it avoids any passers by from trying to dispose of their waste using our bin. Since switching over and now having had 2 lifts from business waste, I haven't heard from them or needed to contact them which is the whole point. They have and are continuing to fulfil the service I am paying for on their end, and we are sticking with the agreement made with them. I would lastly like to note that we are not being charged bin rental which is lovely, and we are not contracted so we are not contractually obliged to stay with this company. From the service received this far, I am only too happy to stay put with Business waste for the foreseeable future. Service: Trash removal & disposal

Final Update: Their customer service deserves credit. They were communicative and made sure to make everything right. Thank you to Mia, Jade, Emily, and Danielle. . . 2nd update: Today they scheduled an ADDITIONAL pickup, and since I didn't tell them in time I didn't want it, they're charging me for that one too. So that's an EXTRA charge on top of the one last week they didn't complete. UPDATE: They missed another collection. Original post: F*k these guys. They missed my recycling pickup, then hemmed and hawed about when they would have it picked up, and then wouldn't refund the money for the pickup because it's was somehow my fault for not putting the garbage out in time (like they couldn't have provided better service and getting my bin from behind the fence). Definitely don't recommend Business Waste!!! I'm looking for new rubbish and recycling pickup services now. Update: Can't cancel my contract with them without paying them 40% of the amount I would pay between now and end of contract. Also they're saying they want CCTV footage proving I put my bins out on the pavement.
