The beds used to be planted every year with different flowers when entering from Melrosegate the two top walk ways was lined with shrubs and wooden arches over the top with flowers growing over the top they have all gone the beck that runs through it was full of ducks moorhens the odd swan would visit geese later on in the year sticklebacks even the odd perch could be seen in the water and just like the gardens the clowncil let it go to waste no maintenance it was full of junk it silted up now they have cut holes in the waterfalls and it's been drained and all there is is a trickle of water and loads of mud the clowncil were going to dredge it but u turned as it usually does it's now a disgrace and would not recommend a visit
