In my experience the agents have been fair and reasonable. Understanding and empathetic. I was a tenant (Abigail) but if I were to become a landlord SML would be the first agency I would think about in terms of using services. Letting agents get a bad rep sometimes but I cant fault Lesley at all. Replied quickly, understood my situation, realised the solution was beneficial for both parties etc. Wish her the best of luck.

Generally my experience of Susie Smith Lettings has been quite poor. Initially, wasn't given access to my utility cupboards, so for the first two months of my tenancy, I was unable to give meter readings. On top of that, when it came to installing WiFi and fixing fibre optic wires that they had already put in before my tenancy, they were so increasingly evasive that I gave up six months after moving in. They were unable to sort multiple instances of other tenants overfilling bins, and then failed to provide any further bins (which is the logical answer to overfilling). Their staff, to be fair, has been a mixed bag (when you can actually get a hold of them), sometimes they're happy to help, but others you'll barely be able to get hold of them, or they'll clearly get fed up and start getting quite short with you. For the price I was paying per month, the lack of assistance and the level of negligence was outstanding.

Tenant Review: I started renting a new property several weeks ago with a different letting agent and the experience has been so bad I wanted to share my positive experience with Susie Smith. We rented a property with Susie Smith from 2016-2017 and we had a great experience with them. Issues were always fixed promptly and the communication was excellent. We always knew what was happening and were kept in the loop with regards to changes or repairs. Whenever we called/emailed the responses were fast, polite and professional. I would recommend.
