Avoid. Trying to increase rents and profit from financial climate. I'm a landlord as well and find that they are being greedy. They will lose tenants and deserve to do so.

I was worried at first about this agent because I read the reviews. I couldnt have been more wrong. They have been exceptionally helpful and gone above and beyond for our student accommodation. I suspect that it is a case of reaping what you sow! Treat them like human beings in a respectful manner and they cannot be beaten - Ive dealt with many agents in my life and they are very good. Tess dealt with us and she couldnt have been more helpful, responding instantly. We are staying with them next year too.

Absolutely shocking. The owner has me blocked on his phone and am still waiting for a deposit back. Avoid here at all costs

I lived in an Adam Bennett property for two years with 6 other housemates and had a great experience. Very nice property which on arrival was clean, very well fitted and had everything in working order. We didn't actually have that much communication with Adam Bennett as we dealt almost exclusively with our landlord Graham (so perhaps the experience is luck of the draw depending on the landlord), but I felt I had to leave a review as he was such a dream of a landlord. Very friendly, extremely accommodating, and incredibly helpful with any issue we had. There were a few issues with the house during our stay, but they were always dealt with quickly, with friendly service, and at no extra cost to us. For example, we lost heating for a few weeks in January, however, our landlord came round the next day with heaters for each room and called out a plumber multiple times until it was sorted and the boiler was replaced. Equally, the microwave broke which the landlord replaced straight away, but whilst he was sorting the microwave he took a look at the oven which was fairly old, and just decided to completely replace that as well. We received our full deposits back despite the odd little bit of wear and tear (which should be reasonable, but doesn't seem to be that common after hearing other students' experiences of different letting agencies). Only a few weeks into a new tenancy with a different agency and, following fairly rude and condescending communications with them as well as a dirty house and broken appliances, we're already missing our old tenancy and landlord. Would definitely recommend AB.
