The Sugar Florist exquisite cakes of York

I stumbled on the website whilst looking for a bakery to make a cake for my son's 18th. I spoke to Claire and despite the short notice she made it happen and even helped me with another request. The cake was absolutely amazing and tasted just as it looked. A big thank you to Claire and her team for the best customer service ever. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely stunning work and what a lovely person Claire is. She did our wedding cake on Saturday and from tasting, designing the cake, postponement, change of venue and the actual wedding day she truly was amazing and incredibly helpful. We had a two tier, white and baby blue cake covered with fondant icing and delicate sugar flowers. One tier was Sicilian lemon and the other white chocolate and raspberry, incredibly moist cake and decedent filling, cannot fault anything! Would highly recommend.

Excellent cakes everytime. Beautifully created, beautiful tasting. Everyone always comments how beautiful they are-so much so that claire has now created birthday cakes, lockdown cakes, christmas cakes and our perfectly exquisite wedding cake and dessert table. Can highly recommend for any type of cake!

A really superb service with delicious cakes. Claire is a real artist and all our cakes have been "head-turners"! Anyone thinking of buying a special cake for a birthday or wedding won't be disappointed, Claire's cakes are truly scrumptious!
