I took part in the Family Wellbeing Festival organised in October 2021 by the brilliant Lena of The Mindful Steps. It was a few days event with a great variety of guest speakers and very useful advice from experts in their respective fields. All talks were aimed at supporting parents to look after themselves and to nurture their children with intention, compassion and the latest knowledge in the field of child development, nutrition, mindset and well-being. I enjoyed the live format on Facebook, where the visitors could ask live questions to the speaker. Replay was also available in Lena's private Facebook group Lena was engaging throughout the festival and parents & carers had the opportunity to ask questions in private in respect to their privacy. It was like a school fair event with useful prizes for the visitors. Thank you Lena for the lovely experience. Will definitely sign up again should you launch a second festival in the future. I'm a mother of 2 wonderful kids. My son, who is 9, is very active, always has busy mind and active life. He doesn't know how to relax both his body and his mind. With his busy life he needs to recharge fully and have a good sleep. There are some weeks/days that it's hard for him to fall asleep or sleep through the night. When we tried Lena's meditations, I couldn't believe how much he was involved, how much he imagined, and how well relaxed he felt after that. We also follow/try a lot of other practices/advice from Lena's page, and we already implement some yoga with stretching routines. My daughter, who is 6 y.o., is more relaxed, less stressed, very good sleeper, she also enjoys relaxing with her brother, and I hope we are building a good base for her mind awareness and her confidence. It's great to have this bank of information on mindfulness available any time. We cannot wait for the meditation album to come out too!

Dear Lena! I would like to thank you for your Forest Meditation! My kids and I do it before bed - it calms them down so much that my 6 year old falls asleep every time we do it! Kids really like the story - it uses their imaginations/visualization and teaches them about their own emotions! Meditation is a very useful skill to learn at an early age! Looking forward to your new meditations!
