Spartans Academy of Krav Maga

I have been training with Spartans Academy of Krav Maga since 2018 ( I think! ). I am a fairly active, what shall I say, middle aged woman, who likes the cathartic nature of the sessions - who doesn't like hitting things hard after a day at work! Alongside the stress release, the sessions also provide invaluable training in how to respond to various situations where you might feel threatened. We are trained systematically, thoroughly and safely. That's not to say you won't go home bruised on occasion, that's just part of it. If you don't mind getting up close and personal to other people who are trying to get you in a head lock, and you like being with individuals of various ages, fitness levels and backgrounds then theses sessions could be for you!

This is the easiest review Ive made. From the trial on the first night, I was impressed by the level of skill and could immediately see how to integrate Krav Maga into daily life. This is not a martial art, but a system that will help you escape and survive should you find yourself in a difficult position. The instructors are very skilled and friendly. After 2 years, I am still as impressed and still learning. Thank you Spartans!

Spartans Academy is THE BEST Krav Maga school to boost your confidence and learn self-defence form incredible, approachable instructors who have got practical knowledge & years of experience. Ive been training for as little as 3 months and I have already learnt SO much..didnt expect Krav Maga to be so efficient and fairly easy to comprehend which is down to amazing instructors! Thank you!

I love Krav Maga Spartans Academy's training methodology, I can feel the beauty of it: straightforward, effective, and understandable. I trained in Kickboxing and JiuJitsu before, I think they are good but could be intimidating or complicated for beginners, but Krav Maga is very novice-friendly, it contains many techniques you can internalize when you warm up and train in this training ground. I really admire the instructor who designed the training process. The genius point of the training process is, even a person who has no experience at all can still learn a lot in a very empowering way. The best teacher could be one who can make students have a great understanding of what they learned.

My children have Krav Maga lessons here at Spartans and it's fantastic. The instructors are brilliant and classes are well structured and interesting as well as educational. There is a real focus on inclusivity and the class participants are very welcoming to new students. I would definitely recommend Spartans to anyone looking for well rounded self defense lessons for their child
