I had the pleasure of working with Angie Downs of Halo Effect Marketing to prepare a plan for OSCARs Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity around engaging with corporate clients. This is not something either I or the charity have had experience of before and was an essential step forward in the growth of the charity. I am very pleased to say that Angie has taught me so much in terms of marketing that I feel confident that the charity will be able to engage successfully with corporate clients. Angie took time out to get to know me and my knowledge in the area of marketing, she asked in-depth and pertinent questions about the charitys past, current status and hopes for the future to help understand the best approach we could take. She quickly formulated ideas that would help me target specific corporate clients in a way that would work best. She introduced me to marketing ideas that I had never heard of, while also clearly explaining the reasoning behind them and the benefits they would bring. As well as the benefits to the charity, I received a lot of professional advice as we discussed ideas. Angie provided the charity with a marketing plan, suggesting different levels of engagement and involvement we could work towards, being mindful at all times of the size of the charity and the amount of funding we have. The plan that she has produced has given us as a charity a clear direction in how we will approach marketing over the next year and a belief that we can find corporate clients a lot more quickly and easily thanks to the targeted approach we can now employ. I would recommend Angie and Halo Effect marketing highly thanks to her personal approach, thoughtful consideration of what we needed, as well as the clear, focused and differentiated plan she produced. I would also like to thank her for the learning I received as part of the process.

Working with Angie is like a breath of fresh air, she is calm and collected and has a great approach to her work. She offers a personal bespoke service, always gives options and ideas on how to move forward. The Marketing Health Check for my business was particularly insightful and useful, it gave me clear direction and guidance along with ideas. I would highly recommend Halo Effect Marketing for any small business looking for marketing support.

After almost 2 years in business with no clear marketing plan or idea I knew enough was enough. I had new services & packages to launch and knew I needed to get the marketing right. I met Angie last year and we've seen each other at various virtual networking since & built a great rapport through LinkedIn, so when I was thinking about who to go to for marketing advice, it was a no brainer. Angie knows her 'stuff'! We had an initial discovery call and Angie suggested that due to the size of my business a Marketing Healthcheck would be a good option and affordable too! The process from start to finish was easy, I didn't actually need to do anything except answer some questions and chat away for an hour whilst Angie took notes. She went away and a little over a week later we met for an hour to go through her findings and her suggestions. Everything she said made so much sense & she'd broken it all down for me, identifying key ideal clients, the types of messaging I should be delivering & how to get that message across. I now have a copy of the presentation of results which I have been working through. My consistency on social media has increased 10 fold & I am in the process of updating my website based on Angie's advice. I have gained more connections, more followers and have much more engagement on my social posts than previously as my messaging is clear, rather than haphazard! It's also generated me new business already and it's only been a few weeks! I would highly recommend working with Angie to get you the marketing clarity you need in your business, it's been a game changer for me!
