Sadly, Matthew is definitely someone to avoid. I have known Matthew for many years, and although only commissioning his services recently, the relationship has come to an abrupt end! I must say it is all fee's and very little action in my opinion. Hastily created invoices, demanded in advance, I received more communication from his automatic invoicing/accountancy program than I actually received from Matthew. Often hard to get a hold of, his Receptionist is an answering service that doesn't know him or the business, it is a real shame that such a local firm is so foreign to looking after its clientele. I have been charged 1,800.00 for, as we say in Yorkshire, nowt and ended up having to deal with my case personally as he removed himself for non-payment, despite already being paid 900.00! and knowing an additional 900.00 was arriving on our companies next payment run. A very poor show and definitely worthy of my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.
