Ann Allan has helped us with interior design over the last six months as we have relocated and downsized from our home of 33 years to an apartment. We set her a tough challenge as we wanted to completely change the style of the main living area to be much more personal to us and our lives, while also accommodating a few pieces of our furniture of different styles but all with emotional value to us. The challenge was all the greater as we first approached Ann in the middle of the coronavirus lockdown and all the work was carried out during the pandemic, following government guidelines. The pressure was on everyone involved to allow us to move in before the virus entered a second wave. Ann rose to the challenge and we are finally in and really pleased with the result. The place now feels like home! The masterstroke was finding a large multicoloured rug which anchored the disparate parts of the scheme as a whole. All Ann's recommended tradesman were also excellent and easy to have around over the three months during which work took place. Service: Refurbishment

Ann and team provided a fantastic colour scheme for our house which saved on numerous conversations on what colours would work well in our house. Ann visited with colour swatches, listened to what our aim was with our house renovation and created a fantastic colour way for the whole house. After our consultation we were provided with sample pots of the chosen paints to ensure we were happy with the colour scheme. Now that the renovation project is completed we have a paint scheme which flows through the house and pulls the house together and the colours flow from room to room creating a fantastic, restful experience. This service of Middlethorpe Interiors is money well spent. Thanks Ann & team.

It has been a real pleasure working with Ann and her team. I chose to contact Ann after seeing her projects on the Middlethorpe Interiors website as I was really attracted to the soft furnishings which looked modern and tasteful. Ann came to visit us in our new house and I feel she really took her time to understand what we wanted to achieve from the design project. She took special note of what we were happy to change and which pieces of furniture we wanted to keep and which had a special meaning to us. Ann has an invaluable knowledge of fabrics and she was wonderful at sourcing swatches and coordinating trimmings but what I especially liked is that she was not frightened to push my boundaries and gave me the confidence to go out of my comfort zone and be more daring with textures and patterns. I am absolutely delighted with the end result and have had so many compliments on the scheme created by Ann and her team. Ann also has a great network of interior contacts and her communication throughout the project was second to none. I had regular updates on lead times and if I had a query she would respond Immediately. I would definitely recommend Ann if you are looking for someone to help you with an interior project no matter how big or small. She is a delight to work with and nothing is too much trouble.

I have absolutely no idea about decor or design so when I decided to go ahead with a major reconfiguration of my home I decided to consult an interior designer to ensure I got the internal space just right. From the first moment I met Ann in her studio I knew she could deliver something special for me and she did. She has a perceptive, creative eye, great attention to detail and a listening ear. The result has been a home which has given me a sense of space, light and texture. Just what I wanted. Thank you Ann.
