        Having read some of the reviews for this guest house I would say they are fairly accurate however i noticed a few people have mentioned the breakfast as being average and not enough choice I disagree i have to say the breakfast is excellent served by attentive friendly staff in a warm Cosy environment the rooms are of an adequate standard but need a little touch of TLC nothing major but again warm cosy and a nice comfortable freshly made bed the location is key as it is only a few minutes walk into York centre itself and there is parking included in your stay the only thing I would say to the owners is the rooms have fridges so maybe a bottle of water for guests on arrival would be a nice touch and shouldnt alter the price so all in all I see the park view in York as great value and somewhat of a hidden gem we will be returning here for our next stay in York
