        Impressed with this hotel, clean and comfy, decent breakfast. Special mention for the team here, every single member of staff I had any interaction with were absolutely lovely - made my stay really pleasant Walkability: 5 minutes from the Shambles and other historic bits of the city

        Just left the hotel after a long weekend stay of 3 nights. What a gem! Room was excellent and well serviced, breakfast first class and plentiful, bar roomy and welcoming. Located 50 metres outside the walls at monk bar and just 5 minutes from York minster makes this an easy access to the city centre and attractions. A well done to all the staff front of house or hidden for a brilliant stay. Absolutely Fabulous
