If you like a b&b with a bit of character this is the place for you. Grand Victorian town house beautifully preserved with modern conveniences. Helpful staff and fantastic breakfast. Walkability: Easy walk into the city.

We really enjoyed our stay here all the staff were very friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them and I would quite happily stay here again. The accommodation and the grounds are beautiful and everything is spotless. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and catering staff were very attentive. It is only a 15 walk into York or 5 minutes on the bus that stops just outside. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful, well appointed rooms. Firm mattress. Amazing bathroom, great shower. Really good breakfasts with lots of choice. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Walkability: 15 mins walk from edge of York with all its facilities
