Stayed for the 1st time, for the races. Perfect location. I asked for the high floor being 6ft odd. I knew it was in the attic section No issues for me. No noise. Lovely breakfast pre ordered. Hosts checked us showed us to our room, left us to our own devices. On leaving asked was everything satisfactory IT was perfect. The room is the killer the comfiest bed and pillows I have had, I didn't want to get. Thanks for a great stay. Booking again for next yr.

What a truly lovely place to stay for our Son and Daughter in Laws Wedding Celebration in York. Alan and Julie were so friendly and made us all feel welcome. The breakfasts were 10/10 absolutely fabulous with so much choice. My Wife Jackie and I had the Attic room and absolutely loved it. A great view out of the velux roof window. With a single bed and a double and Tea and coffee making facilities (never had chance to make one as we had such a lot to do) The rooms are really nice and the City Guest House is kept spotlessly clean. We will definitely be stopping there again when we visit the wonderful city of York. I forgot to say that there are lots of places to eat within 400 metres and the Shambles is only a very very small walk away. Mark and Jackie Powell Kidderminster
