        Bit of a shame that a chicken burger takeaway didnt have any chicken available (for the second time ive been in i the last month) so went and spent my money elsewhere

        This is the best Southern Fried Chicken place in York, period. The chicken is beautifully cooked and good in size. It's not oily or sickly. The chips are stunning, especially with the chip powder. Again, not oily or greasey, but light and fluffy. The staff are also incredibly friendly and chatty. It's definitely the best place for Southern Fried Chicken. It's just a shame they don't do delivery. Do give them a try. You'll be glad you did
