Rogers School of Motoring

Roger is an absolutely BRILLIANT instructor who got me from a really nervous driver to passing first time! Getting in the car felt like catching up with a friend- hes full of funny stories and anecdotes which helped me relax and see driving as something enjoyable. Roger was always on time and looking for ways to use every minute of the lesson productively- we spent a lot of time practicing test routes so none of the test felt scary! You can tell Roger takes the time to understand each of his pupils and what teaching strategies will work for them and it pays off! I honestly cant thank Roger enough for building my confidence as a driver- Id recommend him to anyone.

Roger is an amazing instructor, you won't meet anyone else like him! He made driving fun by putting me at ease, telling stories, chatting, (at times singing) and constantly making me laugh. I chose an intensive course, which consisted of 4/5 hours driving a week; This was the perfect pace for me to learn without feeling overwhelmed and also readying me to drive independently. I would look forward to our lessons and always came away feeling more confident. I have now passed and also nearly finished my Pass Plus. I highly recommend Rogers School of Motoring, he has made it a joy to learn to drive and an experience that I'll never forget.

Roger has been absolutely amazing I would recommend him to anyone I chose Roger after my original instructor moved out of York and thanks to his guidance and support since the end January I passed first time today thanks Roger star man and star teacher

Paid nearly 2000 for a crash course for my 2 sons with money left by their late Grandmother. A year later and one son has had 3 lessons and the other 6! I had to also arrange theory tests because he is so disorganised. If you want an instructor that parks up and chats on his phone for 15mins of your lesson or takes you up to his house and disappears for 10 mins inside or overlaps lessons using your time to teach someone else then this guy is for you! Turned up once in an automatic when we specified manual, then blamed my son saying he asked for it, truth is his previous lesson was and automatic and he couldn't be arsed to go and change cars. This man is super arrogant and a massive chancer he knows every trick in the book to make you out to be the problem. Refused us a refund until threatened with legal action, we were also left short but decided to not pursue as he's very cunning with anything incriminating. Very bad experience, luckily the new instructor has given more lessons within a week than Roger did within a year of a crash course.......AVOID
