Hi I went to your Northwich branch on Saturday I have a property I wanted to let . However your staff were all outside smoking! Not a good look for a company . So I went to mellors.

I'm not sure if it is possible to give them a 0 star review - which is all they are worth. Endless trouble during my three year tenancy including tenancy renewal documents that contradicted the tenancy contract, rent rises way in excess of inflation, and attempts to inflict further rent rises. And of course, big surprise, now I have moved out (and gone back to being an owner occupier) I am waiting for my deposit to be returned, whilst Reeds Rains won't even reply to emails.

Probably my worst ever experience of trying to buy a house, both persons I dealt with at the Evesham branch were shocking. The girl that showed me the properties seemed away with the fairies and providing very minimal info at all viewings. Eventually when I had a offer accepted on a property, I had to deal with an arrogant bloke that had called my solicitor and then lied to me what my solicitor had said! A dreadful experience that contributed towards me pulling out of the property. Their communications in replys were sore, never use again.

1 star is to much, I was tennant in a beautiful house, however had multiple issues when leaving the property in December last year. The landlord payed reeds rains to look after the property. So we're do I start: the smoke alarms were meant to of been replaced in 2012 hadn't even been checked or replaced, they have tried to get an extra 60 for so called rent arrears but themselves and landlord don't know when the so called rent arrears are from, thru tried to claim 1550 after we left, I then spoke to the deposit agency and stated look at the state the property was in when we moved in and how much better, cleaner and suitable it was and the adjudicator completely agreed everything on the exiting check was a whole load of rubbish as we hadnt moved out yet and they lost the whole claim. Our tenancy ended on the 19th and they did the exiting check on the 18th. This company are an absolute disgrace.
