I could only give 1 star because giving none wasn't an option. This is the rudest, most unprofessional woman I have ever come the information wasn't even there, I don't know. They even got the tenant to show us around the property as I was told she didn't have time to show around. Questions were not answered directly, they just kept asking us about how much we could across. Communication from them was rude and short, they got confused by the words 'rent' and 'deposit' and couldn't give us straight numbers so had to keep emailing and double check which one they were talking about. I was emailed very rudely by her to say the deposit amount was on the advert when I asked, which is wasn't. Why she couldn't have just told me this instead of emailing me to go check myself, when afford, when we could pay etc when we hadn't even looked over contracts. Because of our concern at how unprofessional these people had been with our potential house application we decided to drop out, which was met by actual emails of abuse, calling us timewasters. I couldn't believe how this company had treat us, and seeing how unprofessionally they had been in our response to not wanting to go forward with the move (even though we were only at the stage of enquiring about the house), we are very glad they are not our new landlords, I can't imagine how they would be if this is just what they were like in early stages. Avoid, there are plenty of good, professional and well run estate agents in York, this one will be more trouble than its worth.
