Great Hall Cafe

Vegetarian options: Clearly labelled and lots of option Kid-friendliness: Right in the hall so still plenty for the kids to see. Parking: Not sure we travelled by train. Wheelchair accessibility: Great accessibility tables at a good height for a wheelchair and room enough for others at the table too. Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available. My daughter has dairy allergies so perfect for her. All.other allergens were clearly labelled and leaflets on allergens on the counter for the public.

Absolutely awful today. Cold burger and chips, a falafel salad made of sawdust, no choice, slow service. I gave up waiting for a coffee as it was so slow . Never again

Called today with Family and friend's for a Treat in the School Holidays, we tried ordering but told could not have part orders from menu, then I guy came from back said yes we could. We ordered our Food when it came it Was Freezing cold, the Sandwiches in the Children's Picnic Boxes where Rock Hard and the lady had to make Fresh ones but was not Happy to do so. One of our Main Meals was like Slop on a Plate. 38 totally wasted we did try and complain but Staff weren't interested. NEVER EVER AGAIN if your thinking of going to Railway Museum take sandwiches or eat somewhere else.

TERRIBLE service TERRIBLE attitude, it's like they don't want to be there. We only wanted 4 hot drinks and it was as if we were speaking a different language!!! There is no customer service, etc.... disgraceful! Then being stared at by 2 female members of staff while they were clearly talking about us after we had to request milk in a coffee they had failed to add...very rude
