Excellent customer relations from knowledgeable and friendly staff when I took my bike in for a service. Will definitely be going back again in the future for further services etc. Will certainly look to buy my next bike from them; of course depending upon the deal. Recommended.

I came in a few months ago and got talking to 1 of the mechanics and liked his attitude I had already got my XR booked in at what used to be Jeffries at Rotherham, after some consideration I decided to re- book in at robsons at york but was surprised that the same service 12000 mile service was 280 so I explained that was a lot more expensive than what I had been quoted at Rotherham, the gent on the phone said we will see if we can tweak it down a bit when it comes in but unlike Jeffries we do strip the brakes down ,well that was a selling point so I cancelled my existing booking and re- booked with robsons , so took it in yesterday 12th April 2023 mentioned about tweaking the price , picked the bike back up yes they tweaked the price to 223 but no brakes stripped down just a visual check , also mentioned the bike was running noisy due to the exhaust flap maybe not opening correctly but was assured some lubricant spray would sort this if this is the case why not have a word get my authentication and do it if thats all it is but very disappointed about the brakes as that was a selling point for me cancelling my date with Rotherham which was quoted 208 for the same service they did for 15 more , I certainly wont be returning and wasnt going to put a review on but think you are very over priced and not the best experience iv ever had

A Good dealership, friendly staff in all departments but sadly BMW Motorrad UK leaves a lot to be desired! Martin tried his best to get the product changed FOC but all BMW wanted to do was offer me a new product meeting me halfway to the cost of new (approximately 300) as a gesture of goodwill!! For a product that they must know is not fit for purpose! I called BMW myself, I was on the phone a good half hour. They promised to look into it further and call me back. This call was made in December and I'm still awaiting that call back. The product is the Nav VI. I called Garmin Europe and they asked what the fault was, I explained, ghosting and intermittent powering off and back on again whilst riding. They simply took a few details and I sent my unit back and I received a new/reconditioned unit a few weeks later. I've not done a great number of miles with the new nav. The screen powers up differently and the on screen image is different. Time will tell, I have read online people who are on their fifth/sixth units. I have no hesitation in recommending Barrie Robson sales and service departments. I also like the fact it is still a family business and not a big corporate dealership.
