The Rise Restaurant

We went in for an afternoon tea and the service was without a doubt very slow, the food came a long while later, macaroons were undercooking (mushy and soft), the sandwiches were underfilled. This experience was very surprising in itself! The floor was half empty and they were aware of the time crunch but still took their time, so was not the most ideal of places to be but we were able to book a few hours beforehand. The only reason why I gave them 2 starts and not 1 was due to the food tasting decent (aside from the lack of filling, and the macroons being undercooked). Hopefully when they see this review, they'll take the feedback onboard. Dietary restrictions: Nut allergy which was attended to

Delicious food, but slow service. If youre constantly trying to catch the eye of the serving staff, somethings gone wrong. This wouldnt put me off revisiting though.

Gorgeous little gem. Lucky enough to stumble upon it before the queue built up. Food and service a delight.

A wonderful meal very welcoming atmosphere and each dish we ordered was excellent and crafted with care. Of note was the Milk and Honey dessert: none of us had ever tasted anything like it before so it was a special revelation.
