        Stayed at Chelmsford place for two nights and was met on arrival by the owner Janine a really lovely lady and her warm smile said everything about this wonderful small hotel the room was immaculate and so comfortable Steve her partner introduced himself and like Janine, a really nice person this is one place we will definitely stay again.

        Really loved this 2 night stay, rooms are very simple, which is lovely, really clean warm and cosy. Beds are really comfortable too. We had a double room shared shower amd toilet, which we werr apprehensive about, but it was kept so clean, wouldn't of known. Owners were lovely, Janine was fantastic, really friendly, helpful and accommodating couldnt do enough. Situated above 10/15 mins from york itself depending how fast you walk. Perfect stay and we woupd happily stay again.
