It's not a stuffy art class it's just great fun for scribblers of all ages and abilities. No judgement, no rules, good company and a bit of burlesque thrown in what's not to love?

I really love this event. I don't normally draw and I'm not that good at all, but this is so much fun and it's always a different theme. Plus, there's a bar upstairs and funnily enough, my drawing always gets better as the night progresses ;)

Every Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School York event feels magical. It's also very good value for money - where else could you enjoy a burlesque performance, be provided with a variety of costumed models, and also be given art materials to use? Most life-drawing events I have attended cost far more and only provided one model. The organisers are friendly and approachable, and there's always great music. An entertaining night out for both professional artists and beginner artists - and people who just want to sit back and enjoy the spectacle.
