        Called in today on my way back to Manchester having had a couple of nights away in York. Really friendly, helpful guy sorted me out straight away and even gave me a free sample sachet. Tried some of the Ugandan coffee as soon as I got home and very impressed with the depth of flavours.

        Lovely people to deal with! Helped me above and beyond regarding a coffee normally only for the wholesale but I receive it monthly now as a consumer. Beautiful coffee, the best way to start my day

        Ordered Blue Mountain. Delivery was good but couldnt get a decent brew from the coffee. Contacted York Emporium whose reply included the following; This is the only occasion we have received this feedback on this coffee also, which leads us to question the validity of your feedback. I was disappointed with the coffee but appalled by there customer service. They get no recommendation from me on either. A more reasonable approach might have been to ask me to return the coffee before they dismissed my complaint for reason that its the first of its kind.

        Ordered a Japanese teapot. Spout was broke on arrival. Sent email with photo. Great service from York Emporium. New tea was sent out straight away. I recommend this company
