This station has improved considerably since the upgrade for the Elizabeth line. It is clean and well maintained, there are staff near the ticket machines who you can ask for help if you need guidance. The trains are now very frequent and you can get all the way through London & to Reading if needed (Where you can change to other services) I do wish however they kept the underpass access to the platforms open as that was quicker. Also, you cannot put tickets on a smart card so if you want to travel past Reading you need to get a paper ticket.. which is silly.

Worse part is busses not stopping there anymore since 2022 . Good part is Elizabeth line and being possible to pay with card if you going Eton Central

It's a station that has had a make over as part of the cross rail project aka Elizabeth Line... Lots of trains to and from London and Reading as well as some limited parking for cars.
