To Doctor Chana and all the staff Thank you for always putting your patients first. From the first time we walked into Yiewsley Family Practice we felt taken care of. Each individual on the team makes us feel heard and valued, so thank you so much for that. Doctor Chana has been our GP for over 17 years and we cannot thank him enough for being such an amazing doctor, one who truly cares about his patients. We want to thank him for his dedication, knowledge, kindness, wisdom, support and commitment to improving the lives of others. We have witnessed first-hand how much he cares. Two weeks ago, my son Brook, who suffers with mental health was very unwell. I was getting so worried and stressed as we didn't get the help and support that was needed from his mental health team. I decided to phone the Yiewsley Family Practice, a very supportive receptionist spoke with me and told me not to worry and she will get Dr Chana to phone me as soon as possible. Within a short time, I received a telephone call from Doctor Chana. In our conversation I explained what had happened and the emergency that Brook was under. Doctor Chana was very concerned and said to leave it with him and he will get in touch with the mental health team immediately. Brook was taken into hospital, and the following day Doctor Chana called me to find out how Brook was and also, how I was doing throughout this difficult time. How nice was that. We want to let you know Doctor Chana, that you are a true example of human compassion; someone who always goes above and beyond and works tirelessly towards a healthy outcome. Good place, trying to help as much as they can, always update with what patient need. Always helping with prescriptions. Reception can be busy but ladies are always trying to be helpful and understand needs of patients. One minus though, there is no additional parking for patients and sometimes long looking for space on the road parking.

Their website states you can book an appointment online 24/7, but when it takes you through to the booking site (patch's) it is always closed. They release appointments at 07:15 or 1pm and are always immediately filled up. As someone with adhd it is incredibly difficult to remember to book at such a specific time and in the few times I remembered, haven't been able to get through. The one time I did I booked a Dr appointment and was called by a nurse instead, who then couldn't help me as I needed a referral to a specialist. This was over a week ago and still haven't been able to book with a GP since. I also have had a request to access my medical records ignored for weeks now. Only once have I been satisfied at this practice and that was when Dr Mandan went out his way to help me with some medical issues I had and referred me to a specialist, which his colleague before had refused.
