The on-site pool is fantastic- it's unusual to find spa facilities and a pool of such a high standard in a small holiday complex. Being able to pre-book a timeslot works really well.
The location is quiet and out of the way, which is good if you're after some peace and quiet, though you do need a car. The Lion pub in West Pennard is well worth a visit for food.

Booked to go here for a hen do celebration in March 2020. Due to the Covid pandemic and lockdown we physically wouldnt have been able to attend yet this company would not refund us or give us an option to book a new date. They simply said we can move you to a Monday - Friday period out of school holidays or if we have a weekend thats available out of school holidays in either October or November 2020. If you contact us in the weeks leading up to then we could confirm this on the Monday before that following weekend this was absolutely ridiculous as people in our group have children and responsibilities so need advance warning rather than 4 days. Even this was a massive struggle to get out of them.
Completely inflexible, and selfish of them given the pandemic. I understand they have. A business to run, however it seemed they were more worried about putting money in their pockets than breaking lockdown rules or putting peoples health and safety at risk.
This week (Feb 2021) we have been in contact with the company fighting for them to give us a new date (again due to the lockdown restrictions we could not attend our rearranged date) yet they would not accommodate us. Eventually they agreed to refund our money, after a year of being in receipt of it!
Such a shame as we were all so looking forward to a weekend break of rest and pampering yet this company have made this whole experience stressful and theyve certainly done themselves no favours.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
