Kidsafe uk is run by two of the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable ladies, knowing about all aspects of keeping children safe. Val and Jude's training is still, to this day, one of the best teacher training courses I have ever been on. They are immersed in the important matter of keeping children safe, from the facts and figures of why schools need to do it, to their practical and well-written programmes of lessons to teach it. Our school, Whinstone Primary, has been using it for nearly four years. The children love the way that KS needs their help.... and in the process, KS helps all children to know what to do if they were feeling sad, scared or worried. If you are thinking of buying this resource, don't hesitate. It teaches children about those sensitive aspects of keeping children safe (including self harm, death, private places) in a fun way, whilst also maintaining their level of innocence.
