The perfect car buying experience! I have delayed this review as I was a firm believer that if some thing appears too good to be true, beware! I am so happy to report this is not always the case. We purchased a BMW M4 DCT in January 2023, which is an amazing, fast car, which has exceeded our expectations. We travelled from North Wiltshire to Lodge Motors to view a stunning blue Mercedes E350 cabriolet. We had an appointment with Steve, who we cannot say enough good things about.. On arriving, first impressions of the garage was perfect: clean, tidy, well stocked with a varied selection well chosen performance vehicles , all immaculately presented. Steve welcomed us and explained the car we went to view had acquired a cracked windscreen which was waiting to be replaced the following day, he gave us the keys and left us to look round the car and explore alone. There was no pressure sale, no urgency to rush us into a buy, we were given all the space and time we required. Whilst we were sat in the Mercedes, my husband took a shine to the BMW M4 DCT which was parked close..to cut a long story short, we ended up changing our interest to the BMW instead of the Mercedes. Steve didnt mind at all, we sorted the insurance details and he gave us the keys to take a drive.the M4 even had enough fuel in it to allow us to drive further than the end of the road! Steve advised of a route to take for the test drive and waited back at the garage for us to return. We were not PXing a car so he had no security comfort sat at the garage in case we didnt return, the trust offered was appreciated and respected. The BMW was presented professionally, and in amazing condition. We decided that it was the car for us and agreed to purchase it, after another period of being left to ponder our thoughts by Steve. Again, there was no rush to pin us into buying the car, our experience is something a lot of car sales garages could learn from. We collected the car a week later, the change over of ownership was effortless by Steves approach and preparation before we arrived. We were told any problems at all and to contact Steve straight away..and off we went in our beautiful M4. That was 4 months ago, I have waited to post this review so that I could be accurate regarding any after sales concerns or issues with the car. Its a 2016 plate and a little older than we would usually purchase so we thought we may experience a few after sale car gremlins Turns out we had nothing to worry about and Steve was spot on when he told us what a great car we had purchased and itd cause us no problemsit is a great performance car which we love. We are looking forwards to returning to Lodge Motors to purchase our next car when the time comes. We wouldnt go anywhere else now, the relaxed, trusting and professional service made the experience so much more enjoyable and the quality of the cars in stock is second to none! If you are in the market for a performance car, you have to visit this garage, youll be missing out if you dont! Well worth driving a distance to visit!! Steve, thank you for everything, loved every part of our experience at Lodge motors and you made that experienced special!
