I've just purchased my 2nd car with James Ball. I returned as I knew I was guaranteed not only a reliable and professional service but a reliable and trustworthy vehicle. Everything from first contact through to driving away my new car was seamless. James was also happy to buy my car back at a price match I was happy with. This meant a complete hassle free transaction. A beautiful bouquet of flowers sealed the deal as I drove away. Thank you James...no doubt you'll see me again.

BUYER BEWARE! DA64 DXY (aka 787 GMD). Bentley Flying Spur 49,995 - Incomplete service history (Dealer falsely advertising as Full Main Dealer History). 1). Contacted through Autotrader. 2). Went back & forth via text/James made a low ball offer for my car in part ex. 3). Claimed that was the book price & then increased it. 4). Book price for his Flying Spur is 35k. 5). Claimed he was inundated with calls for car (failed to sell). 6). Offered derisory 2% off price. 7). Claimed & advertised the car had full Bentley Dealer Service History. 8). Upon inspection only 3 service stamps instead of 6 (car should be serviced annually. Car is 6 years old, should be 6 stamps). 9). Upon further inspection Car not serviced for 2-3 yrs (2018 - Dec end 2020). 10). Upon further inspection car had number plate change. James claimed he was unaware. 11). Then we find out no current service or MOT! 12). Then James wanted us to pay 500 deposit before we viewed car. 13). Then James services car locally (outside of main dealer network). 14). Then finally gets MOT & remedial works are needed incl 2 new tyres. 15). Then we find out that the mileage in service book for the 3 services is different from what Bentley have on their computer system. 16). When I asked him to check the 5th service (empty page in service book) he no longer wish to sell the car to us! Very Suspicious. * These are high performance vehicles that require MAIN dealer services. * If you are selling 2nd car that is 7 years old, you should ensure it has current MOT & Service. Our MOT cost 50 (no works needed). * If selling 2nd hand car for 50k you should have receipts for works done. * If you are a dealer selling a car, you should know its history, especially a number plate change! BUYER BEWARE! *********UPDATE********* Our response to the owners response is: 1). These are not accusations, but facts based on our experiences with you. 2). You advertised the car as Full Bentley Main Dealer History - This is untrue. We have a copy of original ad. Also we would never buy a 2nd hand Bentley without FBSH. 3). You claim we agreed to buy the car - Also untrue. (Who buys 50k 2nd hand car without seeing or test driving it? We would not even give you a 500 deposit). We were interested & carried out our due diligence, which led to questions that you were unable to answer. 4). Why would you need to "spend a week running around in circles" getting the car ready, if the car was already in showroom condition to sale? The fact is, there'd been no service for 2 years & no current MOT. You then quickly serviced the car outside of Bentley network (cheaper) & did MOT that highlighted 2 tyres were worn. 4). If you were inundated with calls from people wishing to buy the car, why is it still for sale months later? 5). Bentleys are meant to be serviced annually - 6yr old car (7yrs now) should have 6 stamps - why is there only 3? 6). Why did you not address the 2yr interval between services? 7). No Mot; incomplete service history; number plate change; 2 new tyres needed; service needed; mileage discrepancy between service book & Bentley dealer computer system.
