Always used P M Hinder for my scrap needs and although there yard is now closed which is a shame they collect which makes life that little bit easier!

They're reasonably happy to let customers rummage through the yard to look for meterials they can reuse (Unless they're running the crane to load lorrys. It's a customer safety thing). Prices are good, and the staff are friendly. They usually put anything "Too good to scrap" aside, and have a stock of most things people would be looking for. Well worth a visit for budget conscious home engineers and fabricators.
