My terminally ill Nan went in here in 2020 for 2 and a half weeks and ended up dying here. We were not notified of her going down hill, as far as we were concerned, she was in there for a bit of rest bite care. We did not expect her to die within 2 weeks of being there and was told late at night that she passed away and we were not allowed to see her. When we phoned up to ask how she was doing, we didnt give her name to start with and the lady on the phone said oh shes fine shes having a sleep, Im sorry but how did she know who we were talking about, it could have been anyone. Personally I wouldnt recommend you sending your loved ones to this care home, I would do your research and then choose somewhere more trust worthy.

My mum was in this care home for 2 and a half weeks . I cared for her with help from my daughter for ages . I wish I had never let her go there ! I needed help and a break so I did . I phoned to ask how she was doing as we werent allowed to visit . The woman answered the phone without even knowing who I was asking about . She said she was fine just sleeping .. she could have been talking about anyone ! I believe my mum would have been alive longer if I had kept her home . Would recommend anyone going anywhere but here ! they dont like you leaving feedback that isnt positive either ! Im not sure the word care should be used alongside the word home in this case !
