We stayed here in Feb 2018 when the building works were in progress. So things may change by the time you visit. In the Touring Caravan Park there were mainly long term residents who worked locally and very few Tourists. The showers and toilets were old fashioned with only two showers in the Ladies and Gents, we never had to queue, probably as people prefer to use their caravan shower instead (recommended). The Quarry next door was only noisy during the working day and blasting is restricted to acceptable hours, and even then it is more of a "Woomf" than a loud "Bang" and dust was not a problem. If anything, the road was more noisy than the Quarry. The site was untidy but that may improve once the Luxury Lodges are fully built (which look excellent). We felt that the price charged per night for touring caravans was too high considering the condition of the site when we were there. Lets hope the site soon gets back to being like the photos on the website.
