Incredibly welcoming environment, where all skill levels are catered for. Noone is made to feel inadequate if they do not pick up the moves immediately. The sensei has practiced for many years, and as such; is highly skilled and attentive. If you are looking for a martial art to protect yourself, or just one to help you focus your attention: give this class a go, you will not be disappointed.

I was looking for a traditional martial arts for my wife and I. Excellent class full of friendly people. Sensei is calm collected and very knowledgeable and caters to all levels of experience.

Excellent class. Experienced Teacher. Friendly Atmosphere I've been training at the Bujinkan Yate Dojo for over a year and have found every single class thoroughly enjoyable, interesting and practical. It's a calm and welcoming environment to train in, with our Sensei and other students always offering helpand support. I've been to other classes where I have felt isolated and a nuisance to train as a beginner, this couldn't be farther from the truth here. The training is extremely varied and covers a range of punches, blocks, kicks, locks, throws, and also covers weapons and knife defence. We constantly practice with partners to learn body movement, striking distances and effectiveness of different moves, and also get to feel the effects! Our teacher is extremely knowledgeable and has a genuine passion for teaching ninjutsu. He brings plenty of philosophy and actively promotes character building/polishing to ensure your mind is trained as effectively as your body. I'm looking forward to training here for many years to come.
