Penney's Cleaning & Support Services Ltd

Unfortunately, I'm here to write a negative public review, after a terrible experience with Penney's -- overpriced, not thorough enough with the cleaning, uncommunicative, and just unprofessional. I hired them for move-out cleaning of my furnished flat, and they removed 11(!) items from the flat -- all small furnishings or accessories, but all things that were on the letting agency's inventory (like a step stool, a rubbish pedal bin, a kitchen trivet, an ice cube tray, a bucket of cleaning supplies, extra curtain hooks -- small but useful things). The follow-up included no genuine apology and absolutely no explanation for how the items got taken (and then mysteriously returned -- did someone take them for personal use?!) -- or why some very similar items were not touched -- and no discount for the time and hassle of it all. Beyond this snafu, the cleaning was not thorough -- the letting agency had to ask them to return a second time to clean several fixtures, surfaces, and corners of the carpet. My phone calls to Penney's were never returned, and the email responses did not answer all of my questions. I am forced to write this public review to warn anyone who is looking for cleaning services in Oxfordshire to go elsewhere! Service: Moving-related cleaning

AVIOID! BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES. Was told a full tenancy clean included everything the letting agent required. Accidently doubled booked one part of it. When I questioned this with the managing director I was subject to unbelievably rude and unprofessional behaviour in communication. He refused to discuss my genuine query, only repeating that he will take me to the small claims court if didnt pay. AVOID! Service: Moving-related cleaning
