Really enjoyed our cruise out to the Needles, the trip was well worth the money for a family of 4. Small bar on board serving a small selection of cold refreshments, you can't beat a BEER ON A BOAT... Great skills from the pilot who got us up close to the sights for some great photos. If you have a couple of hours and don't want to be crammed onto the normal Alum bay cruises, then this is just the ticket. FANTASTIC

Absolutely amazing! The captain was very informative, leant so much about the island. Took some fabulous photos of Alun bay, the Needles and saw some gorgeous yachts. Plenty to see. We went from Yarmouth and I have to say its well worth doing. Really made our day! Thank you Coral Star and your amazing crew!

A cracking boat trip to The Needles. Great commentary from the crew. The onboard bar is a nice addition over other such boat trips on the Isle of Wight.

Had a wonderful time on the Coral Star today! The crew were welcoming, lovely, chatty, friendly and a much more personable experience than going on one of the big ferries. Definitely travel to the Iow every time with these guys. Highly recommended!!!

DISGRACFUL!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DISCRIMINATES AGAINST ELDERLY PEOPLE. I booked this trip on 19th January for a trip on 12th July so they had plenty of notice that at least 17 of us would be attending the trip. Michele told me on the phone that the boat sailed at midday which turned out not to be correct it was 12.45 so there I am with a party of 16 who are aged between 70 and 94. She did tell us where we could get refreshments while we waited which was very helpful. When the boat arrived it was half full. Michele had also told me that they could not take wheelchairs but otherwise those with mobility issues could be accommodated. (I have the emails that she sent me stating this.) This was really not the case. Lots of people got on the boat before us and the captain kept telling us he was insured for 62 passengers. He then repeatedly told us that 'she' had overbooked the trip. He turned 2 people in front of my last 2 ladies away telling them that it was full and promised me a refund for the 2 that could not board. All of the seats around the edge of the boat were taken and it was very cramped. I think that people were also supposed to sit on the lockers where the lifeboats were but this is not possible for a 94 year old and would have been very uncomfortable for everyone, however we were not even given the choice. When I telephoned this morning to arrange the refund that the captain had promised us Michele was very rude and was shouting at me that we were a bunch of MOANING MINNIES!!!!. Hands up, I did lose my temper and shout back but I am the customer and she had spent several minutes telling me that I was lying so I feel that I am justified. My 94 year old lady was very upset that she could not get on the boat as she had been looking forward to it. I really do not understand how the captain could refuse boarding, promise a refund and then deny that he did so!
