I will be boycotting English Heritage from now on, and highly encourage others to do the same. Due to their support, the UK government is going ahead with their plan to dig up the Stonehenge World Heritage Site to build a tunnel, which is as far away from their duty of care and conservation as is humanly possible. UNESCO and the Planning Inspectorate, as well as Stonehenge's main archaeologists all oppose this...I will never support English Heritage again. They are destroying our most iconic heritage site and should be ashamed of themselves.

The rows were mainly destroyed in WWII. The remaining houses were used by EH to display items from the ones lost. A young man and the lady gave us introduction talks in each building which were useful, interesting and to put it all into context. Make sure you switch the audio on in each room. However, the stairs were steep and seemed to get steeper with each house we visited.
