I arranged for Guardian Roofing Contractors to repair my outhouse flat roof and my guttering that was leaking in three places in August 2021. The roof repair was perfect but sadly the guttering is still leaking in two places. Despite contacting Lincoln the fitter I have had no response, to say I am unhappy with the work carried out on the guttering would be an understatement. Services: Gutter repairs, Roof repair

This company price well and are very polite but in my opinion the work lacks and is as good as it gets. Being in the building trade many years ago is know a bit about these things. The job I wanted doing as per the description on here was to replace the old wooden fascia board with new and the guttering. I also asked for a soil pipe to be replaced at the same time and a waste pipe. I noticed during the job that the guttering had been removed but not the old wooden fasica. When I confronted Lincoln about this he advised this is how it was done not being one to argue and the fact I now had no guttering had no choice but to let them carry on. I get the feeling they were just trying to get the job done as quick as possible and cut corners. Not a single new hole was drilled for the new down pipes this would have been fine however the old fall pipe clips had come away from the mortor part the reason for getting new guttering. This meant since they have left I have noticed some of the clips have only one screw in as they couldn't be bothered to drill new holes into the brick. They also used white cap nails on the fascia and one of them has hit something hard behind the fascia and rather than remove it and replace they have left the nail half bent over. Would never use company again and don't feel the guarantee is worth the money its written on not that I would know as I still haven't received this or the invoice after two requests.
