Yarcombe Inn

Visited on 30th April after being recommended, few issue when food arrived, lady taking the order read it back with the bits not wanted mainly blue cheese sauce on chicken burgers, both came out with it on ! Sent back, 4 off us carried on eating while 2 sat there. Burgers came back out, started eating them, one was under cooked (chicken was pink). Told the lady and she took it back to kitchen, put other person off of theirs, were then ignored, so decided to pay bill, was expected to pay for two meals which were unacceptable, so the boss came out and disputed chicken was undercooked, eventually removed 2x meals and 2x drinks. Also gave us 2x 20 per cent discount vouchers!! First impressions count for a lot, wont be going back, sister in law is still suffering today wit upset stomach!!!

The land lady and all the staff were very welcoming to my wife and I when we visited over the platinum jubilee weekend. Beautiful pub in a beautiful setting. The atmosphere on the Saturday was fab. 80s music and great company. We will definitely visit again.

Absolutely lovely. The lady behind the bar was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was wonderful and their little garden at the back was just what we needed last night.

Took my mum and her partner for Sunday lunch. I had read a couple of positive reviews so decided to give it a go and wasn't disappointed food was very good and portions were good. Happy to recommend the Yarcombe Inn.
