I only ever do five-star reviews. One star and I'm complaining to the vendor. Two, three or four is normal service, so why review? Five stars is above and beyond. But what if seven stars is more appropriate? Or ten? I took J&P a thirteen year old Ford Transit that had been repainted using aerosols and brush loads of any old paint. Dulux and Rustoleum and Hammerite. As long as it was satin or matt black. There was rust, a body panel had popped it was a shed that should have been sent to the scrap heap. But it had a new engine and gearbox, and I liked it. J&P took this heap of junk and transformed it. They didnt just paint it; the doors and glass came off, the bonnet and the entire front end came off, they stripped it back to the metal, cut out the rust, repaired and fettled. They primed and rubbed it down. Then they did it again. When it came to bits that even they couldnt save they found replacement parts, at good prices. They consulted me regularly. And when it came time to put on the paint, they had their own idea. Ive had the van back a while now and every morning when I walk out to it, I think WOW! The craftsmanship, the artistry, demonstrated by these guys was exemplary and if you want a superb job, they shouldnt just be your first call, but your only call. If they are busy, get on the waiting list, it will be worth it.
