Lovely little site for caravans, motor homes and campervans. Generous sized fully serviced pitches. The owners communication was very good, got a text a few days before arriving confirming what pitch we'd been allocated. The toilet block consists of 1 toilet and then another, generous sized room with toilet, shower and twin sinks. All well stocked with toilet roll, air fresheners and cleaning products. There was even an area in the toilet with books to borrow and also add to. So if you've forgotten a book to read, you'll be able to borrow one from the site. 2 things to be aware of is that the site operates on a low wattage for electric. So they ask you to be mindful of what and how many electrical items you use whilst on site. The other thing is that there is only cold water in the washing up area, this didn't bother us as we just filled our washing up bowl with hot water from the kettle before heading to the washing up area. Beautiful sunsets and a really lovely quiet and peaceful site. Would recommend to friends and family. I can't comment on things to see and do or shops in the local area as we only stayed for 2 nights and brought everything we needed for our stay. However there were leaflets in the toilet and washing up area and I'm sure that Heather and G would be happy to point you in the right direction for anything you needed.
