        I can't recommend this place highly enough. 5 stars plus plus. Much more than a well run friendly yard. Also full of wonderful people and horses and a great owner who cares.

        A year ago today monty made the big move up to North Yorkshire and we couldnt have asked for a lovelier first yard. Cottage farm stables is set around some of the best hacking myself and Monty have ever ridden. The yard itself is run by the most friendly, cheerful people and the whole yard is like one big family, horses, dogs and owners alike. The yards land is spread across the village of Ruston and the fields are all well maintained and the stables are nice and spacious but cosy to keep the horse warm over the cold winter months. Monty and I definitely made some great friends and we were very sad to leave, Thank you Kate for being so kind and helpful and giving us such an easy and welcoming first experience of a livery yard.
