Thank you Kathryn Haylett @YourSafariLtd for arranging the most amazing tour of Namibia, which surpassed all our expectations. We now fully appreciate why Namibia has such a special place in your heart. It is a beautiful country, with some incredible scenery, wonderful wildlife, such happy very friendly and welcoming people, and a vast emptiness that is difficult to explain. We had some amazing experiences, which you could have nowhere else. From attempting to climb up some of the world's highest sand dunes, to visiting Deadvlei, which is "other worldly" and where we saw a very rare "fogbow", to picturesque Swakopmund, with great fish restaurants and where we went kayaking with seals, to Brandberg mountain, where I got to cuddle a meerkat, to Etendeka, a very special place in the middle of nowhere with the most stunning scenery, to the incredible wildlife in Etosha, to our magical day with the San people at Flume, to the big cats (leopards, cheetahs and lions) and, most amazingly, tracking a wild and free roaming pangolin, at Okonjima, with a stay in the most beautiful room and, of course, our encounter with a not so friendly policeman who was obviously in the business of lining his own pocket! And the one full tyre blow out and two punctures. We feel we had the full Namibia experience! A truly special holiday with memories that will last a lifetime. Everything was superbly organised and communication was always so prompt and efficient. Our experience couldn't have been better. Thank you for everything .

We can highly recommended Kathryn and Your Safari, who looked after our family holiday with two teens. Visiting Nairobi, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro crater and the Northern Serengeti, staying at mobile camp, the whole holiday had so many wonderful pinch me moments, culminating with some recharge time on Zanzibar.

We spent a spectacular (almost) 2 weeks in Namibia and are so happy to have booked with Kathryn. What initially drew me to yoursafari.co.uk was the prompt feedback from Kathryn. I like her clear, uncomplicated and genuine style of communication. She actively listened to our queries, focused on our interests and needs, and then planned meticulously to ensure we had a trip of a lifetime. Impeccable service from her, Jacqui and the team. I have actually been dreaming about Namibia (Im in a jeep either looking at animals or enjoying the freedom of the wide open road) since I have been back, so that tells you how well the trip went. An exceptional trip which has opened my eyes to the beauty of such diverse landscapes the country naturally offers. I loved the breathtaking vistas: wide open roads, majestic savannahs, fiery sky after sunset, the deep oranges and russets and barley creamy Guinness hues brushing the landscape; the silence and stillness, the peace and time for reflection; The anticipation of seeing more animals as we approached Etosha, the exhilaration of seeing the animals... Everything worked out: Personalised Map, directions, overview and tips were spot on! Car rental: Lovely folk (Rico? And Irene was a breath of fresh air and had lots of great advice about the road etc. She kindly drew directions to a nearby mall for me to visit. My bag didnt make it, so I had to buy a few clothes to do me for the duration. Hotel Thule: Great first and last stop. What a view! Lovely restaurant and staff. Desert Homestead: We loved it! Not far to get to dunes. Easy drive. We felt very chilled out here. Organic Homestead: Perfect lodgings. Okaukuejo Camp: How spoiled were we in having animals on tap at our doorstep! Liked the casual, laid-back atmosphere. All other lodgings were lovely. Onguma The Fort: wow and wow! Okonjima one of our favourite. Apart from the larger beasts, what sticks out: o Mongoose valiantly protecting it turf from goshawk o Two cheetah climbing down from tree, stalking in long grass and perching behind rock to view possible prey. Oryx obviously too large for them, but calf had caught their attention. Herd rallied around and cheetah had to wait for another opportunity. o Leopard: up close and personal to 3 year-old, Okonjima. Excellent guide. A magical trip. We have fallen under Namibia's spell. Thank you so much, Kathryn, to you and your team for making this happen. We realize that a lot of work and dedication has gone into this. Get ready when we ask about Botswana! Mind you, Namibia was so special, we could return again and again.

We are just back from a fantastic holiday in Botswana for just over 2 weeks. It was one of the best holidays I have ever been on. All expertly arranged by Kathryn and her team at Your Safari. It started with 3 nights at Pangolin lodge, Kasane photographic opportunities were excellent and the staff were very helpful. We went on many trips on the River Chobe in specially equipped for photography boats (only 8 per boat) you can get very close to the animals and birds safely (for animals and humans). We also had a trip on land in an open sided jeep to visit the Chobe National Park. Then we moved on to a 10 night Mobile Tented Safari, it was magical not just for the wildlife, scenery and night skies but also the staff and our travel companions only 7 guests per trip, we were a party of three, the four other people were beautiful people which made the holiday all the more special for me. We spent time in Chobe national Park, Savuti, Khwai and finally Moremi. Then a stunning flight in a small plane to Maun over the Okavango delta, flying so low you can see elephants etc a beautiful way to end an amazing holiday. The tented safari was a brilliant experience, our guide Vics knowledge of wildlife and fauna was endless we felt in extremely safe hands with him and this team mates, Phineas, MK (who always made sure I never had a leaky glass in the evenings), chef Noga and Peter. This team took excellent care of us even baked a birthday cake for one of my new companions and sang Happy birthday with beaming smiles. I took thousands of photos, still processing them many memories were made on this trip and new friends too. I loved the bucket showers the food was delicious, restaurant standard chef Noga and his team worked magic. I am a keen Astrophotographer and wanted to take photos of the Milky Way but given we were deep in the wilds of Botswana I couldnt do this on my own Kathryn at Your Safaris was able to arrange for my guide on the Mobile tented safari to accompany me I will never forgot this holiday I so want to go back. Thanks Kathryn and your team in the UK and especially in Botswana.
